After our first two wonderful Home-School Connection Nights, we will have three HSCNs in February:

- Tuesday, February 10, 2015 will be a Math Night. We will review data from the Benchmark and cover concepts about fractions, including overview of fractions and LCM/GCF.

- Thursday, February 19, 2015 will be a Reading Night. We will review data from the Benchmark, with emphasis on details, fact and opinion, and cause and effect.

- Tuesday, February 24, 2015 will be another Math Night. We will continue our discussion about fractions, focusing more on computations and operations with fractions.

I hope to see you at these workshops. Your child will earn an Avengers sticker for attendance at one night, an Avengers sticker and Penguins of Madagascar key chain for attendance at two nights, and an Avengers sticker, Penguins of Madagascar key chain, and homework pass for attendance at all three nights! The time will be from 7:00-8:00 in my classroom. On each night, please use the main doors to the building. They will be unlocked at 6:45. Again, these sessions are for PARENTS ONLY, so please leave students at home. Bring something to write with. These sessions will again be broadcast live on YouTube. I highly encourage you to attend. It can truly make the difference in your child's learning. We had a great turnout in January! Please RSVP by February 6th, 2015 by using this link:
