March HSCN

posted Mar 7, 2015, 8:29 AM by Justin Birckbichler
There will be three HSCNs in March:

- Tuesday, March 10, 2015 will be a Math Night. We will cover all applicable concepts about geometry.

- Thursday, March 19, 2015 will be a Reading Night. The emphasis will be on author's purpose, drawing conclusions, and inferences/predictions.

- Tuesday, March 24, 2015 will be another Math Night. We will begin discussing concepts about measurement and probability.

I hope to see you at these workshops. For each night you attend, your child will be invited to join me in the classroom during lunch later in the week to watch a kid-friendly movie on Netflix. The time will be from 7:00-8:00 in my classroom. On each night, please use the main doors to the building. They will be unlocked at 6:45.

I will be offering child care for each night. If you choose to bring your child or children, he/she will be working on IXL or Mr. Nussbaum Online Reading Comprehension activities with Mrs. Burke in her classroom. Feel free to bring children of all ages.

These sessions will again be broadcast live on YouTube. I highly encourage you to attend. It can truly make the difference in your child's learning. We had a great turnout at HSCNs the past two months! Please RSVP by March 9th, 2015.
