There will be three HSCNs in May:

- Tuesday, May 5, 2015 will be a Math Night. I need your help here. Below, please indicate 5 topics that you would like to see covered. I will pick the top 4-5 topics and discuss those. We will also discuss all three SOLs. This Night will be 7:00-8:00.

- Tuesday, May 12, 2015 will be our first and only VA Studies Night. We will discuss the entire VA Studies curriculum. Please note that this Night will be 6:30-8:00 to account for having to cover 400+ years of material in one night.

- Tuesday, May 19, 2015 will be our final Math Night, and the format will be very different. It will be Students Vs. Parents! Come with your student and battle your students as we review all math skills that we have done all year! To allow for full game play, the time will be from 6:00 - 8:00.

I hope to see you at these workshops. For each night you attend, your child will be invited to join me in the classroom during lunch later in the week to watch a kid-friendly movie on Netflix. On each night, please use the main doors to the building. They will be unlocked at fifteen minutes prior to the start time.

I will be offering child care for each night, except the final Math Students Vs. Parents HSCN. If you choose to bring your child or children, he/she will be working on IXL or Mr. Nussbaum Online Reading Comprehension activities with Mrs. Burke in her classroom. Feel free to bring children of all ages.

These sessions will again be broadcast live on YouTube. I highly encourage you to attend. It can truly make the difference in your child's learning. We have had a great turnout at HSCNs in the past! Please RSVP online in the box to the right.
